From the Londonderry Sentinel Saturday 12 March 1949 – “CARRIGART GOLF CLUB – At the annual meeting of Carrigart Golf Club a survey of the year’s work was presented and general satisfaction was expressed at the efficient way in which the course was kept. Mr A Speer was elected captain of the club.”
