Djouce Mountain Golf Club, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow. (1990 – 2020)
Founded in 1990.
Opened in 1990 as an 18-hole par three course.
The later nine-hole course was designed by Eddie Hackett.
Djouce Mountain Golf course was close to Djouce and Sugar Loaf Mountains, Vartry Reservoir and only 40 minutes from Dublin. Surprisingly for its location it was a flat course, measuring 6,358 yards off the men’s tees and 5,480 off the ladies’ tees. Djouce had alternative tees for the two nines. Visitors were welcome and booking in advance was advisable.
It was posted on the club Facebook page on April 13 2020 that “Djouce Golf Club Has Closed.”

In August 1997 Vartry Lakes Golf Club beat Djouce Mountain by three matches to two in the annual Jack McKenna competition.

The annual golf classic for the Friends of Newcastle Hospital was played in May 2002, 38 teams took part. Winning team; Anne McGee, Marie O’Brien, Kevin Brady, Michael Malone; Runners-up; John Robinson, John Geary, Harry Lawless, Paddy Fitzgibbon; Third; Mary Shanley, Frank Johnson, Annette Johnson, Willie Murray.
