Kirkintilloch Herald Wednesday 24April 1895 – “The club has secured ground at Dryfield and the course is now ready. Intending members are requested to enrol their names without delay. Subscriptions received by Mr S Alexander, Treasurer, 38 Cowgate; and Mr J Cameron, Jun., Secretary, Southbank. Gentlemen’s Subscription, 15 shillings; Ladies’ 10 shillings; Boys’ and Girls’ under 16, 5 shillings”.
