Lochwinnoch Golf Club, Renfrewshire. (1897 - WW1)
It was reported in October 1897 that a golf club was being formed in the village.

In the Library Hall in October 1900 the handsome ink stand, offered by Robert Campbell, Manchester, for competition by the members, was presented to the winner, William Waddell.
Also in October 1900 the Lochwinnoch Golf Club travelled to Alexandra Park, Glasgow, to play the Ingram Golf Club. The The village team got a beating; not one of them managed to score, result; Glasgow Ingram, 33; Lochwinnoch, 0.
