Mugdock Golf Club, Mugdock Castle Course, Stirlingshire. (1875 – 1912)
Eighteen-hole course laid out on land adjacent to Mugdock Castle.
The club was a purely private one originally for John Githrie Smith and friends. It was later leased to Colonel (Hon) James Alexander Read. It ran from 1875 until Read’s death in 1913, when it was promptly dissolved.
