Balnahard Golf Course, Colonsay. (Pre-WW1)
Golf was played rather haphazardly at Balnahard on Colonsay for a couple of hundred years until WW1. There were no fixed holes – whoever had the honour fired a bow and arrow, and the “pin” was wherever the arrow landed.
