Ballachulish Golf Club, Argyllshire. (1900s – 1930s)
Evidence of an earlier club in 1907.
From the Oban Times and Argyllshire Advertiser Saturday 28 September 1912 - “On Monday the Admiral of the Fleet paid a visit to Lord Strathcona at Glencoe House. A number of the officers golfed at Ballachulish golf course.”
Report on the new club in February 1933.
It was reported in June 1933 that the course had been opened at the Black Knolls, a short distance from the railway station.

Oban Times and Argyllshire Advertiser Saturday 21 August 1937; “There was a very good entry for prizes presented by Dr Norrie to the Ballacullish Golf Club. Alexander MacTaggart who retuned a card of (8) 62 was the winner. The second prize was won by John Livingstone with a scratch score of 63.”
