Orbost Golf Club, Dunvegan, Isle Of Skye. (1930s)

There was a brief appearance in the mid 1930/40s for Orbost Golf Club which had its own course.
The secretary was J S Porteous, Orbost Hotel. A 9-hole course, 2,448 yards, SSS 66. Visitors’ fees were 1/- a round.
Below is the Orbost Hotel, proprietor J Porteous. The original house was transformed into a Regency mansion. In the 1930s it became a hotel. Nowadays it’s a private residence.

Orbost Golf Club did not appear after WW2.
