Scalloway Golf Club disappeared once again after the above date. The following information comes from a local resident: “There used to be a golf course situated in a large field at Berry Farm. I don't know much about it as it was long before my time though my Dad used to go for a game there when he was a child. I do know the area and would suspect it was no more than a 6/9 holes. I live right next to the park that it was situated in and still go there to hit golf balls when I can't be bothered to go to the Shetland Golf Club. There are a number of cups from the Scalloway golf club still played for at the Shetland Golf Club”
