The house is built on the high ground adjoining Revelstone (sic) Road, and possesses a charming and extensive view of the Forth and Fife coast. It has been treated in an artistic style, the effect of half timber work and harling and the red tiles of the roof being exceedingly picturesque. It was designed by Messrs. Cooper & Taylor, architects, 14b George Street."
