Culross Golf Club, Fife. (1895 - 1900s)

The club first appeared in 1895. 

The course was situated about a mile north of Culross at Gowerfield,

Below is the result of a match played against Alloa in September 1895 on the recently formed new course of the Culross Golf Club.

After a very enjoyable game the visitors were entertained to afternoon tea by the lady members of the club. A ladies' competition took place in the afternoon when the first prize was won by Miss Beveridge, Gowerfield.

The report above states that the course had “recently opened.”

The club is listed in the J H Taylor - Club Directory published in the 1900s.
