Rutherford Castle Golf Club, West Linton, Borders. (1998 - 2015)
The initial course opened in 1998 and was designed by Henry Wallace the farmer who owned the land at the time.
The course was set in 150 acres of rolling parkland beneath the Pentland Hills with natural water hazards and mature trees.
In 2001 the 18-hole 6, 525 yard par 72 championship course was re-designed by Bryan Moore. The secretary, director and professional was M Brown.

The course underwent further changes in 2008.

The club continued to be listed in the Golfer's Handbook until it ceased publication in 2015.
Due to the dire financial situation and with dwindling membership the owners decided to close the course in 2015.
