The following is from the 1905 Nisbet’s Golf Yearbook; Stations – St Boswell’s, one and half miles and Melrose, three miles; The nine-hole course is situated on the side of West Eldon Hill on what is known as Bowden Common.

 

Bowden Golf Club, Melrose. It seems that this is the end for the club.
