Hannover Golf Club, Rennbahn. (1923 - 1945)
In 1923 a nine-hole golf course was laid out on the horse race course “Grosse Bult” in Hanover. By 1945 the golf course had closed down.
Following the war the Hanover Golf Club moved to a new site in Garbsen, this course was up and running by 1952.
The race track finally closed down in 1970.
Christoph Meister took the pictures below. Features of the former course can still be clearly made out (October 2016).
Today the site of the old golf course and horse racing track is partly occupied by the children’s hospital “Auf der Bult.”
