Villa Igiea Golf Links, Palermo. (1910 - WW1)
The following is from the 1912 Nisbet’s Golf Yearbook; VILLA IGIEA GOLF LINKS (season - November to June); Instituted 1910; station - Palermo; subs. 25frs per season; Holes - 9; All information can be obtained from manager Hotel Villa Igiea. There is Sunday play, and the course is intended for visitors.
The Villa Igiea Hotel was also involved as an initiator when the golf course/club at Mondello was instituted following WW1.
