Houlgate Sarlabot Golf Club, Calvados (14). (1930 - WW2)
Houlgate Sarlabot Golf Club is not very far from Dives and opened in 1930.
It was an 18-hole course reducing to eight-holes out of season. It was pretty long based on the standards of the time measuring just under 6,000 yards, it was considered as being rather tricky. In 1934, the committee, presided over by M Viguier, decided to reduce some of its difficulties.
The club did not reopen following WW2.
