Le Mans Golf Club, Sarthe (72). (1930s)

The nine-hole course was located near the famous Le Mans race track.

An inaugural match was played on May 27th 1935. The eight players involved were; R Rouly (local pro); E Lafitte, Biarritz; L Ghintran, Lyon; W Cunningham, Tours; F Cavalo, La Boulie, Paris; M Dallemagne, Saint-Germain-en-laye; A Boomer, Saint-Cloud; A Boyer, Nice. The competition was won by Aubrey Boomer with a score of 66.
