Le Havre Golf Club, Seine-Maritime (76). (WW1 - WW2)
Prior to WW1 Le Havre had a successful golf club with a nine-hole course and more than 100 members. It was definitely appearing in 1910. The club was initiated by Mr Denis and was located at Harfleur. The professional was William Trickett. The club disappeared at the time of WW1.
The above club is not to be confused with another project which started in the late 1920s and was initiated by Matthews, Orel and Wolfson. The club located at Octeville, was opened in 1933 by Mr Chardine. It closed at the time of WW2.
In the mid 1950s the club was resurrected at the same location and is still active.
