Uriage Golf Club, Isère (38). (1914 - 1930s)
Just before the war the professionals were Michel Alsuguren and C S Chambers.
The course reappeared in 1921 and was created for the clients of the Hotel des Albergues. The spas were quite close to the hotel but the course was rarely used by the guests. It was a rather plain course with no frills. It gained more interest when the city of Grenoble paid some attention to the course.
The first club closed due to WW2 - the current club came into being in 1960.
