Thun Golf Club. (1899 - 1940)
An 18-hole Golf course was laid out in Thun in 1899.
The season started in April finishing in November. T. Freemantle was the professional. Most probably this first course was owned by Hotel Bellevue.
Course layout.
The club joined the Swiss Golf Association in 1923, when Major R.B. Bergne was club secretary.

The 9-hole course at Einigen was directly adjacent to the lake and closed in 1940.
