The club first appeared in 1912 with a short lived course at Cae-Melwr.

In 1914 the secretary was J E Jones, The Bank, Llanrwst.

In the final of the Plas Madoc Silver Cup in July 1914 the Rev Jenkyn Jones beat Dr J W Owen. The cup was presented by Mrs Priddle, the donor.

In the mid 1930s the Cyffdy Park Golf Club, Llanrwst appears. The secretary was T S Davis, 6 Station Rd, Llanrwst. The professional was J Morris. A 9 hole course with a Par of 68 and a membership of 80. Visitors’ fees were 2/- a day, 5/- a week and 15/- a month. Stations at Llanrwst 1 mile and Bettws-Y-Coed 3 miles. Local hotels were the Victoria and the Eagle.
