Newbridge and District Golf Club, Monmouth. (1920s)
First appeared following WW1.
During the 1920s the secretary was E G Jenkins, Bryngwyn, Newbridge, telephone number 29. The professional and green-keeper was E C Jones. A 9-hole course where visitors paid 2/- a day, 1/6d for ladies. Sunday play was allowed without caddies. There were stations at Newbridge, Crumlin and Abercarn 1 ½ miles away. Local hotel was the Newbridge.
