The professionals were William Buckle in 1897/8, Ben Owen 1901 to 1905 and P McLeod 1905 to 1907.
In May 1898 the Trefriw Golf Club was elected a constituent club of the Welsh Golfing Union.

The amateur played sensational golf and his score included “two strokes in a rabbit-scrape” and a six at the last hole, which he “overdrove”.

Hopes of a revival in golf at Trefriw in March 1923.
As can be seen below the course continued to be shown on Ordnance Survey Maps until the 1960s. It's possible, as with many clubs, that the club ceased to exist at the time of WW2.
I would appreciate help from anyone who can remember the club in the later years. Please "contact us" via the website homepage.
