Chirk Golf & Country Club, Wrexham. (1990 - 2012)

Founded in 1990 as Chirk Golf & Country Club it had an eighteen-hole championship course and a nine-hole par 3 academy course. The woodland courses with well maintained and undulating greens were situated in 200 acres of the beautiful Welsh countryside and were overlooked by Chirk Castle. The ninth hole measured over 660 yards and was reputed to be “one of the longest in Europe". There was a floodlit driving range and a clubhouse with bar, restaurant and conference facilities.
